| The Law and Legislative Committee reviews proposed amendments to the Constitution and By-Laws of the Local. When any part of the Constitution or By-Laws is altered, the Committee will review and make recommendations, taking into account the Constitution and By-Laws of the International, the Constitution and By-Laws of the Local, and Federal and Provincial Laws and Acts.

| The Audit Committee is responsible for the annual review of the audit of the books of the Local; a written report of such audits will be presented to the Local at the regular meeting following the completion of an audit.
The treasurer, in conjunction with the Audit Committee
and the President, shall prepare
and present an operating budget to the Executive Board for approval for the fiscal year.

| The Elections Committee administers all elections of Local 891 officers and
officials. The Election Committee consists of no fewer than seven members in good standing from seven different
departments. The Elections Committee ensures that all elections procedures, ballot instructions and ballot
handling are followed as per the Constitution and By-Laws.

The Negotiating Committee is comprised of I.A.T.S.E. Local 891 members, who have been appointed to prepare the contract proposals for collective bargaining with producers. The committee will negotiate and bargain on behalf of I.A.T.S.E. Local 891 members and present a final negotiated document to the membership, for ratification as a collective agreement. |
